Inauguration of the Junior Red Cross (JRC)
The Inauguration of the Junior Red Cross (JRC) was held at The Merit Hr. Sec. School, Senthamangalam, on Monday, 10th August 2026 at 3.00 p.m.
The programme was organised with the aim of instilling the values of service, compassion, discipline, humanity and social responsibility among the students.
The programme was graced by distinguished dignitaries from the Indian Red Cross Society, Tiruvarur. Mr. S. Rajkumar, Avl., Advocate, Chairman of IRCS, Tiruvarur, was the chief guest. Mr. J. Varadharajan, Avl., Secretary of IRCS, Mr. A. V. Balu, Avl., Treasurer of IRCS, and Mr. R. Senthil Kumar, Avl., Hon'ble Dr. Radhakrishnan Best Teacher Awardee and Zonal Coordinator of JRC, VSBHSS, Tiruvarur, were also present and graced the occasion.
