80th Independence Day Celebration
The 80th Independence Day of our nation was celebrated with great pride and enthusiasm at The Merit Higher Secondary School on 15 August 2026.
The programme was held under the leadership of our Correspondent, Mr. R. Seetharaman, M.Sc., M.Phil., M.Ed., and in the presence of our Director, Mr. V.K.S. Arul.
The Presidential Address was delivered by our Correspondent, Mr. R. Seetharaman. The felicitation address was given by Mr. K. Pothuselvan, M.A., M.A., M.Ed., M.Phil.
The highlight of the celebration was the presence of our Chief Guest, Mr. Aaroor P. Srinivasan, who delivered the Special Address and inspired the students with his valuable words.
The programme reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity and pride in our nation.
